Communication

Communication skills form the basis of the majority of student programs at Bates Drive School.

Students are immersed in a rich and multifaceted content that looks to build and sustain communication strategies for student development.

A variety of communication strategies are used across the school which include: visuals, signs, real objects and verbal forms of communication.

These strategies can and are planned and discussed during PLP meetings at the beginning of each year, as well as reviewed and modified throughout the school year.
