Creative arts

Visual Arts is a part of the curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 12. Students have access to a wide range of art-making materials and have opportunities to create artworks related to theme work, literacy and numeracy programs.

Music is integrated into most programs at Bates Drive School as it is a highly motivating and sensory experience. In addition to class based music activities, each class participates in structured music sessions with one of our teachers who is also a musician. Music lessons provide excellent opportunities for choice making as well as singing,moving and playing a variety of instruments.
